"So then each one of us will give an account of himself to God." Rom 14:12
We know that there will be a judgment day for each of us. We will all stand before His holy throne and answer for the lives that we have lived. The standard will not be what others have or have not done, but what thus saith the Lord.
What story are we writing every day? Are the pages being filled with obedience, benevolence, love and neighborly behavior or sin, excess, selfishness and defiance? As much as we try to please and impress others, it is only God's judgment that ultimate matters.
Beloved, as we go through our lives, let us live as if we will have to explain everything we do...because we will.
